Farm purchase tops Craighead County property sales

The largest property transfer in Craighead County during the period from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 involved the purchase of agricultural land. According to the Craighead County Assessor’s Office, Bane Land Farm and Cattle and Tebo Land LLC completed the transaction on Oct. 13. The companies paid $1.76 million for the crop acres, making it the top residential and commercial deal for the reporting window.

Greensboro Townhomes LLC recorded the second largest transaction. The entity purchased commercial acres for $1.26 million, a deal finalized on Sept. 30. The third largest transfer involved a single-family home. Sarah and Jeremy Ragsdale bought the house for $1.2 million, with the sale closing on Sept. 29.

Other notable transactions included a home on Sawgrass Drive that sold for $1.1 million. Crowson Investments LLC bought the property from Kristy and Zachary Beliew on Sept. 30. Greensboro Townhomes LLC also acquired additional acres from JTown Development Group LLC for $880,000, completing that purchase on Sept. 30 as well.

Two homes sold for $840,000 each during the period. Jonathan and Hallie Gurule purchased a house in Sloan Lake Estates from John and Dena Householder on Sept. 18. ANC Subway LLC bought a store at 2007 West Parker Road from Inspira Financial Trust LLC on Sept. 30.

Additional residential sales included a home purchased by Teddy and Tracy Shields for $825,000 on Oct. 9. The property was sold by Zach Caruso. Hiba Amhmed and Qureshi Usama bought a house in Ridgepointe for $799,999 on Sept. 17, paying L.J. and Rebekah Bryant for the property.

Joseph and Taylor Tringali completed a $675,000 purchase of a home in Sage Meadows on Oct. 2. The sellers were Leslie Durham and Rebecca Lou.
