An immersive concert experience titled Stage will premiere on February 14, 2027, presenting David Bowie's 1978 Isolar II World Tour performances to a modern audience. The production will debut at Uber Arena in Berlin, coinciding with the 77th Berlin International Film Festival.

The project was developed in collaboration with the David Bowie Estate. It utilizes previously unseen footage from the singer's career-defining period. Filmmaker Brett Morgen identified the archival material while producing the 2022 documentary Moonage Daydream. The restored clips feature Bowie performing music associated with his influential Berlin era.

Stage differs from traditional concert films through its technical setup. The experience combines large screens, transparent LED displays, surround sound, and theatrical lighting. This configuration creates an immersive performance environment for attendees. The production explicitly avoids using holograms or artificial intelligence to recreate the singer.

The initiative aims to place audiences closer to Bowie's original live performances. It offers a direct view of the material rather than a digital reconstruction. The estate and production team selected this method to preserve the authenticity of the 1978 shows.

Following its initial run in Berlin, the experience is scheduled to travel internationally. The tour will provide fans and new listeners with access to the restored footage. The specific dates for the international leg have not yet been announced.
