Anderson .Paak and Cordae wrapped their promotional tour for the joint album "Heavy Is The Crown" with a New York City appearance, performing from a moving vehicle on East 14th Street as evening set in. Fans lined the sidewalk as the two artists addressed the gathering, with concertgoers raising phones to capture the performance. The New York stop closed out a run that began earlier in the week.

The pair had already staged pop-up events in Los Angeles, London, San Francisco, and Chicago, along with a Fatburger block party held in West Hollywood. The appearances offered merchandise, limited vinyl pressings, and signing sessions with the artists. The New York gathering drew a crowd that had been waiting for hours, and some attendees said they had been in line since midday or earlier.

The performance included "A Good Day," the lead single from the album. The track samples Bill Withers' 1977 release "Lovely Day" and takes its title from Ice Cube's 1993 track "It Was A Good Day." Merchandise available at the New York stop included hoodies, two t-shirt designs, and a set of drumsticks, alongside copies of the album on vinyl for purchase and signing.

"Heavy Is The Crown" is Anderson .Paak and Cordae's collaborative album, released for streaming and vinyl distribution. The project arrived in the same week as the "New Music Mondays" roundup covering new releases. The album marks a pairing between the two rappers, whose work together the source described as establishing a smooth lyrical connection.

The tour's conclusion in New York came during the run-up to Hip-Hop History Month. Anderson .Paak led the crowd through call-and-response gestures during the set. Attendees held up phones throughout the performance, and some people who were walking past stopped to watch. The event took place on East 14th Street as commuter traffic continued nearby.
