Sportsbooks Back Dodgers As 2027 Favorites
Betting markets list Los Angeles as the team to beat for next season, with Milwaukee and New York trailing.

Sportsbooks have placed the Los Angeles Dodgers at the top of the 2027 World Series futures markets, positioning them as the primary contenders for the championship. The betting lines reflect a strong confidence in the franchise's financial advantage and roster depth relative to its peers.
FanDuel opened the odds with the Dodgers at +360, a price that implies a higher probability of winning than any other team. The Milwaukee Brewers followed at +600, while the New York Yankees sat at +750. The Tampa Bay Rays, the reigning American League champions, opened at +1800.
DraftKings offered even shorter odds on Los Angeles, listing the Dodgers at +310. Milwaukee appeared next at +500, and the Yankees at +700. The Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, and Philadelphia Phillies formed a second tier with odds of +1100, +1800, and +1800 respectively.
This pattern mirrors the previous cycle, where the Dodgers were the pre-season favorites for the 2026 season. Both FanDuel and BetMGM had priced them at +350 to win that title, ahead of the Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. The Dodgers ultimately captured that championship.
The Colorado Rockies again hold the longest odds for the 2027 season. They are listed at +50000, a figure that has remained consistent at the end of each of the past two World Series. The Chicago White Sox also held +50000 odds before reaching the AL Division Series last year, a performance that suggests even long shots can advance in the postseason.
