Baltimore residents can meet new people at a free adult Halloween event held on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026.
The Enoch Pratt Free Library's Afroamerican Department is hosting the gathering at the Creative Arts Center in the main library building. The event is open to all adults in the city at no cost. It runs at 400 Cathedral Street in the 21201 zip code.
Participants will engage in several icebreaker activities designed to encourage conversation. These include a version of Bingo, a round of Two Truths and a Lie, and a Who Am I guessing game. A speed friending session will allow attendees to have brief, consecutive one-on-one chats with different people.
The library will serve appetizers to attendees during the event. Organizers will also present awards to participants. The most notable prize is a trophy for the best costume of the night.
The event aims to build community connections among adults. It provides a structured social space for people who may not know each other. The library lists the activity on its public events calendar for more details.
