A self-learning artificial intelligence system has released score predictions for every National Football League game in Week 9, projecting a 23-20 victory for the Green Bay Packers over the New England Patriots. The model, developed by the SportsLine Data Science team, evaluates each matchup by learning from historical team data and assigning a numeric value out of 100 to the opponent's defensive strength.

The system has generated specific betting recommendations for the slate, which includes eight interconference games and several divisional matchups. The AI identifies the Packers at plus 3 as a value play against the spread and recommends the under on the total of 46.5 points for the contest. This prediction is part of a larger set of outputs that the model has produced since the start of the 2023 season.

The model's analysis relies on continuous refreshes with the most recent available data. It aims to identify discrepancies in sports betting lines by quantitatively assessing offensive and defensive capabilities. According to SportsLine, the system has hit thousands of four- and five-star prop picks since its introduction.

The Packers enter the game with a 5-3 record, one of four teams in the NFC North with at least five wins. The team is coming off a 27-19 victory over the Carolina Panthers on October 29. Quarterback Jordan Love has completed 61.5% of his passes for 2,246 yards and 16 touchdowns, while wide receiver Christian Watson has caught 42 passes for 708 yards and six scores.

New England is 5-3 and sits second in the AFC East behind the 6-1 Buffalo Bills. Third-year starter Drake Maye has completed 67.1% of his passes for 1,983 yards and 15 touchdowns in eight starts, though he has also been intercepted eight times. Tight end Hunter Henry is the primary target for the Patriots, with 29 receptions for 326 yards and two touchdowns.

Week 9 features a busy schedule for other interconference contests. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will visit the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football, where Chicago is favored by six points after its win at Seattle. Other notable matchups include the Cincinnati Bengals versus the Atlanta Falcons, where Atlanta is favored by three, and the Cleveland Browns versus the New Orleans Saints, where New Orleans is favored by three.

The model also provides picks for the Las Vegas Raiders versus the San Francisco 49ers, with San Francisco favored by 10, and the Detroit Lions versus the Miami Dolphins, where Miami is favored by 7. The schedule also includes the Denver Broncos versus the Carolina Panthers, with Denver favored by 2.5, and the Kansas City Chiefs are not mentioned in the top interconference list provided. The Arizona Cardinals face the Seattle Seahawks, with Seattle favored by 12.5, and the New York Giants play the Philadelphia Eagles, with Philadelphia favored by 3.5.

SportsLine notes that the Steelers and Titans are on byes this week. The AI's predictions are available for review alongside other top-rated picks, which the company claims have included more than 2,000 highly-rated selections since the 2023 season began. The system continues to update its ratings as new game data becomes available.
