Jay-Z will headline the halftime show at SoFi Stadium on February 14, 2027, the NFL and his company Roc Nation confirmed this week. Roc Nation has produced the halftime show in partnership with the league since 2019, and Jay-Z has served as a decision-maker on which artists take the stage. For the coming game, he selected himself.
The two teams that will play in the Super Bowl have not been set. That determination comes on the last day of January, after the conference championships. The performers sharing the stage with Jay-Z are also unannounced. Halftime acts frequently bring out other artists, and no guests have been named for the February date.
Beyoncé leads the list of names connected to Jay-Z's catalog. The two married in 2018 and have three children. Their first collaboration, "'03 Bonnie and Clyde," predates their relationship, and "Crazy in Love" followed in 2003. "Drunk in Love," "Part II (On the Run)," "Deja Vu" and "Lift Off" came later. They have toured together. Beyoncé performed at the 2016 halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars, sang the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston in 2001, and appeared at the halftime show in Houston on Christmas Day 2024, a performance widely called the "Beyoncé Bowl."
Rihanna's path to a recording career ran through Jay-Z. In 2005, as CEO of Def Jam Records, he brought her in for an audition, and she later moved to Roc Nation in 2010. They recorded "Umbrella," "Run This Town" and "FourFiveSeconds" together. She joined him on stage at Yankee Stadium earlier this year during his tour. Rihanna headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, where she announced her pregnancy during the performance.
Blue Ivy Carter, the oldest child of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, danced during Beyoncé's Christmas Day 2024 halftime show in Houston and again on the Cowboy Carter tour. She has attended NFL games with her father.
Eminem performed with Jay-Z on the current tour. The two recorded "Renegade" for The Blueprint. Eminem appeared as a guest at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show, which featured a hip-hop lineup.
