A manhunt for Jacob Allen Morley, who escaped from a Tennessee prison on Monday, has expanded to Wisconsin after a bank robbery on Tuesday. Dane County authorities report that a gunman entered the Bank of Deerfield just before closing. He demanded cash, restrained two employees, and fled with money. No injuries were reported during the incident. The suspect stole a Lincoln MKZ from the parking lot to make his escape. Police later located the vehicle abandoned and unoccupied.

Morley escaped the Northwest Correctional Complex on Monday. He drove away in a white 2008 Ford F-150 marked with Lindamood Planting Company. The truck was found abandoned in Marion, Illinois, early Tuesday. Police stated there is no evidence Morley remains in that area. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is aware of the Wisconsin robbery. However, the agency has not yet confirmed that the two events are connected.

Morley is serving a life sentence for the 2022 murder of Cody Birchfield. He is listed on the Tennessee Most Wanted List and should be considered dangerous. Tyreece Miller, the U.S. marshal for the Western District of Tennessee, is requesting public assistance. The reward for information leading to his arrest is currently $15,000. Daniel Russell, a friend of Birchfield, described the fugitive as a monster who will act again.

Anyone with information about Morley is asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND immediately. If a witness sees him, they should not approach and should call 911.
